ASAP Question on rims for GS and LS (the same wheel)
Im selling the rims i have now on my GS.
I currently own a 99Gs400 , in the future i will be buying a 2004 Ls430. I want to get rims that will work with both.
First what size will work
-19x9 19x10??
- offsets ? 35 , 35 or 41 , 35?
-bbk (will the ls430 breaks clear a non bbk settup) ?

the ls430 has HUGE brakes in the front, you can consider it bbk. so you definitely NEED high disk wheels for the front, otherwise you have no hope on clearing the ls430 (front)
for offsets. i am not 100% expert on the ls430 myself. but i believe the front it can take pretty much the same offset as the gs, but the rear it's not as aggressive as the gs. so if i were to guess and choose one today, i would go with 19x9 +41 for the front. but for the rear, even with 19x10 +35 that's VERY aggressive setup for the gs already. you will need to shave the whole fender lip to clear. that setup on the ls430, i think i have seen it before. again you have to shave the whole fender lip, and it might still be too marginal and might need to lower the car more or dial in the camber a bit
and johnny, we need to talk some time
