I ran the GY GS-D3's for a while and I was not as impressed as C&D seemed to be. If you do a lot of wet weather driving then they are a good deal, but for mainly dry weather there are better choices.

i had so3. superb handling, horrible noise. i had yoko avs, very good handling, horrible noise again. had continental for a while, not good handling and it's still kinda stiff.

had the pzero nero, very soft and comfortable, very quiet, but handling was just ok. now i have the michelin a/s (all season). it's very good handling still, superb tread wear, and it's surprisingly quiet!

mario, ps2 huh? very nice just look out for the tire wear

Hey Henry,

It's not my daily driver and it doesn't get out much in the winter if at all. So they'll be around for atleast a couple of years

Just to add, dunlop sp9000 - good handling, horrible noise and I agree that michelin p/s a/s are excellent...good handling, great tread wear and quiet. Only thing is I can light up the michelin's way quicker than my dunlops (have the 3.76lsd) but the dunlops in rear are 275/35/18 vs the michelins 245./45/17. Might be different story if the michelin's were 275/35/18 in back

e, it's the pzero nero higher performance than the m/s, and supposedly better in most category

i am not surprised if the m/s is close and similar though

Thanks Rom. I'm going with a set of M&S this spring for my 17s. Performance is at the bottom of my list of requirements. Remember who you're talking to here -- old man e.

My top 3

1- Currently running staggered Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's on TT wheels, fantastic combination.

2- Dunlop SportMaxx, I liked these tires a lot but could not get them in the sizes I wanted.

3- Dunlop Direzza - fun track tire, I did some testing with this tire AutoXing a Mustang GT, very predictable and responsive
