Default I need some input....19s or 20s??

Man this entire finding and buying Wheels process is driving me crazy . Here is the breakdown...

I have a 01' Gs430
Stock suspension - (for now...Tein CS in my near future)
Soon to be daily driver - (on Atlanta roads)
I still want that comfy Lexus ride

I'm just not sure whether to go with 19s or 20s staggered

For those of you who have experienced both on your GS (daily driver) or have test drove a GS with both wheel setups.. your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Default 19's

Go for 19's if your roads are bad. Get 20's and you will be swerving potholes like Vince Young in Pasadena.

Dubs defintely. but if you go away from stock you won't get that lexus like ride anymore. I just put the stock 17's back on. Boy it's smooth now.

Ok guys on a scale of 1 - 10 with 9 being stock wheels stock suspension..you know the plush ride where would 19s and 20s fall on this scale??

I really like the look I'll get from 20s but some of you say the ride will be harsh and I'll have to drive with my face plastered to the windshield looking for pot-holes....

HELP!!?!?

well I'm sure alot of us including me had 20's with no drop at one point... and the ride yes was harsh but as soon as you put the Tein CS on its a hole different car.. The car feels tighter, more solid, and just like stock ride with the CS coilovers... If fact there's some in the classifieds as we speak... Good luck..

yeah probably that's why, my tein cs helps to "correct" the problem. with my tein cs and 20s, my car rides pretty darn good. at one time i changed to stock 17s and it was horrible experience

Well then Henry knows from Experience. Get the look & comfort w/ 20's w/ teins.

I think this is the best example of the goodness and comfort of 20" wheels and the correct suspension. When Tony called us for the first time I think he wanted 18s and springs for fear of a harsh ride!!

Take it from a relative newby, 20s and TEINS and your all set!
