Question Help! New rims for LS430

Hello,

I've looked all over for specs on factory LS430 rims and haven't had any luck. I don't want to go with a larger size (I like the ride quality on 17s) but I hate the stock rims. I'm currently looking at some wheels eBay as follows:

Size: 17 X 7
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 114.3
Offset: +40mm

Would these rims fit OK?

The rims are cheap - BSA - but really look great. (I know, expensive car, cheap rims!) But they really do look great. Here's a pic:

What do you think? My LS is Midnight Pine Pearl. (Dark metallic green - almost black)

The price is so cheap I'm concerned about quality. If anyone has had any experience (either good or bad) with BSA rims please let me know ASAP as the auction ends tonight. They are manufactured in Malaysia but seem to be pretty popular in Europe. I'm worried I'll be cruising along at 80+ and have a wheel fall off!

Thanks in advance for your help!

hey man,FIRST.......i dont think these wheels would clear the front calipers...SECOND.. have you ever driven a ls430 with larger sized wheels, cause the ride in a 05 with the sport wheels...18's is very similar in the ride quality to the standard 17's....just need to get the proper offset..plus some of these cheap wheels wont clear the calipers in the front....dont spend money on these wheels......im pretty sure some one here know is selling those optional sport wheels...get those instead.

Thanks for the advice. How do I know which offset clear the calipers? I am thinking about getting WORK Euroline DH wheels but not sure if they fit ...

offset is not the problem, you need to make sure you get high disk wheels for the front

If you're ordering through D2 Autosport, you don't have to worry about it because they already have all the specs to get the wheels to fit properly.

courtesy of oneton These are Work discs. High disc means that the back pad is larger and therefore gives more brake clearance.
