I run Blizzak WS-50s. Not sure if it's the "latest", but they sure work great!

What do state troopers run? I'm sure whatever they are running would be more than adequete.

I've done a lot of research on this lately. What are you looking for in a tire? Quiet, comfort, performance?

Well, of course I want all three. Unfortunately, that's not going to be possible. The Potenza's on the car are dangerous in any kind of winter conditions. I plan on buying another set of wheels and mounting a set of winter or all season tires. In that case, performance would have to be third on the list, behind winter conditions and quiet. Wondering if those Kumho ECSTA's at $91.00 each are worth buying.
Thanks

I have the same setup, no complaints.

How much snow do you get in Washington state? If only a few inches here and there, I would think that a good set of all-season tires would suit you well. I have 16s on my car for the winter, but I think the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's are okay in light snow, as are the Toyo Proxes4, the Contintental Contiextremecontact and the Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S. If you're dealing with a lot of snow, then I think you should really consider a solid set of snow tires.
