Will 2006 GS300 Wheels (17" X7.5" with a 45mm offset) fit my 1998 GS400?? Also, I have 245/45/17 tires - i believe these would fit the above wheels but just wanted confirmation from the experts here in the club.

I have read a few places that it is not recommended 245/45/17 tires on a 17x7.5 wheel....I have the opportunity to purchase a set of 2006 GS300 Wheels for $450 (is that a good deal???) but I dont want to buy new tires - my set of 245s is already new. Is there anything dangerous about putting 245s on 7.5 inch wheels????

Nothing dangerous.

I ran that combo before with Conti contacts.
ITs just not the "preferred" size. I believe that 225 on a 7.5" wide rim would come up on any shop computers although 245 will work.

Thanks Silver - do you know if $450 for a set of 4 2006 OEM GS300 Wheels is a good price??? The wheels are brand new btw......
