Will these 16" GS Wheels fit properly?

I have a similar question. I want to go from a GS300's 215-60-16 to the ES300's stock 15 inch setup.
I tried the spare from the GS to a front of the ES. The wheel fits fine, but sticks out a little more that the original.
While the car was still on the jack, I put it in drive and turned the wheel from side to side and nothing seemed to rub.
