have you tried to just unscrew it normally? If you are lucky, it will just come off. I had one stripped lug nut on a stud and it just came off by unscrewing it.
BTW a tire shop near me quoted $35 to take it off if it couldn't be unscrewed, plus another $30 to replace the stud. Probably not too bad if you don't have paitence and the tools.

chris, I asked my firend and he said we can just use a normal 19 socket to get it off. You still can turn it will just totalled mess up the stud.
Did you get new one yet??? If it is a must done right a way, why don;t you take it to my firend's shop. Because I think the worst case is we need use a airgun to burst it off.
It located at Desert Inn and Valley View, if you take DI, just turn left on Valley view and should be the first street on the right called Regulus.
I wish I can help you but I am really not sure if I will mess it up even more.
Let me know!
BTW, if you need my lug nuts, just let me know, I have them in the garage.

ohh, btw, the worst way to do is to keep tighten it use a long socket, the stud will broke into pieces, but I don't know if that will scratch the wheel.
Man I miss the tires.... yokohama just not as quite and sticky as PS2 and P Zeros...
I might change the tires soon.

Well the studs are out but I need to remove the disk so I can hammer the new ones in. Do you have any idea on how to remove it? I wont have to bleed my brakes after this will I?

Just swing the cailiper out of the way .. use a string or coat hanger to suspend it .

My recommendation would be to take the rotor and new stud to any reputable shop and have the stud pressed in placed properly. Pounding it in with a BFH could cause distortion in the stud and or rotor causing more problems down the road.

I would use the wheel nut and large socket as a free washer and use the squeezing force to pull
the stud in... you may have to hold the head to prevent free spinning.

L Was a lovely drawing once .. the space chomper turned it in to bits (edited Salim)
Do not exceed the torque too much beyond the specified tightening torque. (70 lb-ft ?)
Also a wice or a a lage enough 'C" clamp can be used.
