Default Michelin PS2 longevity

For those of you who bought PS2 tires, I hope you have not experienced the ridiculous wear that I have just experience. I bought the PS2s this spring and have about 10,000 kilometers (6200 miles) on the tires. My front tires are showing very little wear but my rear tires are now bald.

Being a loyal Volvo fan (since 1969) I was not in the mindset of checking rear tire wear and am very fortunate that I did not experience a blowout.

I am at a Lexus dealer now (in Minneapolis), on the way back to British Columbia, and am going back to the Bridgestone runflats. At least I experiences just poor wear, 30,000 kilometres (18,000 miles) on the Bridgestones.

I hope this provides those deciding on replacements some additional information.

ps2 definitely has poor wear, a lot of people on tirerack talks about it. part of the reason why i did NOT get these tires, it's just not worth the price to me.

but man, 6000 miles, you drive hard for sure~!
