Default Yokohama AVSdb

I put the Yoko AVSdb(215 60R 16) on my 1999 GS300 and have mixed feelings about them. They have a very "sporty" ride which I'm not sure I like (personal preference I discovered after I purchased these tires). They don't absorb bumps in the road very well - you feel all the road. On the flip side, they are extremely quite for a performance tire, and they do really perform. They handle extremely well in both dry and wet conditions. I have had a set of Blizzaks for winter since I owned they car and I think this is fortunate since all the feedback is that they are a terrible winter tire. One recommendation I would make is to have your Lexus dealer mount and balance the tires since I had a terrible time with vibration until they rebalanced the tires. I just bought Continental's Touring Tire for my wife's Toyota Camry and like them a lot. I bought both on line from tirerack.com, they seem to have the best prices. Hope this helps.

Intimidator3, thanks that is helpful, I live in Seattle and only need a little snow use and I do like the sporty feel so I want good performance year round this might be a good option to not have to deal with winter tire change, David

I'm also using the dBs for my stock 16s, but I went with 225/60/16.

They're very nice and quiet. Performance is alot better than stock, and the tread design is also alot better.

I would recommend it.
