Default What type of lugs for Iforged?

What type of lug bolts does Iforged wheels use? I am trying to double check before I place a order for lugs.

I am very interested in this info too. When I originally switched to Iforged, I was told that the stock lugs wouldn't work. Furthermore, I had to try about 2-3 sets of aftermarket lugs before I found ones that worked.

Now, I'm missing a single lug on my rear wheel, but don't want to go through the "guess and check" hassle again. I remember reading that Todd from TM engineering sold the proper lugs, but they seemed a bit pricey, especially since I don't require an entire set.

umm i don't know if it's called acron, but the tapered type is actually kinda the most common ones out there. most of the aftermarket wheels use those lug nuts i believe

I think tapered is the correct one. I looked up tirerack's bolt guide and tapered seems like it.

I am pretty sure they are one in the same. Contact Todd at TMEngineering, that is where I got my Mcgard lugs and locks from. I believe his SN is DoubleWhoosh

I am getting the lugs from him as well, he refers them as acron or is it cone I didn't get it over the phone but I confirmed with him today and tapered is correct.

I guess tapered lug is the real name in the industry and he is using the street name for it, kind of like shoes=wheels type of thing.

It is an ACORN lug - shaped like an acorn. They are also called conical. This indicates that the seating surface in the wheel is tapered, not flat. The seating surface in stock Lexus wheels is flat, that's why you can't use the stock lug nuts.
You can get them from Gorilla or McGard. American Racing also makes some nice ones.
I believe the correct size is 12mm x 1.5, if my memory serves me correctly.
