they're a bit different... but i think a 17 inch IS spare fits the GS too.. but not the other way around... or something like that...

the center groove along each spoke is more pronounced on the is300 rims.

not only that but the is300 rims are 17 x 7 whereas the GS rims are 17 x 8.

those are the main differences and in my book- the size issue is a big enough difference that i wouldn't consider having different rims on the car.

i think the is300 rims are more of a darker silver graphite finish? idk correct me if i am wrong.

there are two type of is300 wheels, the silver one has the same color. there is another graphite one

This is the main difference I've noticed. The groove is not only more pronounced on the IS300 wheel, but it also runs virtually the entire length of each spoke. On the GS, the groove starts at the perimeter, but only runs toward the center for maybe 3 inches.
