In that last link, Emerald uses a regular hammer, but you should be careful as you can bend the wheel mounting plate if you're not. The easier tool to use would be an air compressed hammer gun, but a regular hammer works too, just be careful and tap it lightly until it comes out.

I used an impact gun to have my stud pulled in tightly. We just put the stud in through the back of the hub and put the lug on the front of the stud and used an impact gun to torque the lug until it pulled the bolt/stud completely through. If you use this method be careful and take your time

^^^impact gun/air compressed hammer gun. It's MUCH easier than with a regular hammer, or take the car to a tire shop, where you can have them all replaced and properly torqued for under $10 if it's only one stud..

He'd probably have to have it towed, I don't think it's driveable bro

with just 4 lug nuts on and one missing, the car is totally drivable. in fact, you can probably drive it for a day and it's ok

Hah. Not too long ago, FOUR OF THE FIVE on my rear passenger tire broke. After removing the wheel, turns out a hub ring was left on there by the previous owner (for the aftermarket wheels, which were not on the car). Took the ring off, put the wheel back on, and had about 3 - 4 threads on each stud to work with. The lug nuts were barely hanging on... I drove about 130 miles back home with only 4 lug nuts on that wheel (one of them would not go back on, since the stud broke off inside of it).

You'd be surprised how far you can drive, so long as the wheel is flush with the rotor.
