is there any ways to tell (visually or car performance) whether the tires are leaking?

There are several ways.......check your tire pressure when the tire is cold & wait 24 hours & check it again.

Many shops have a dunk tank for tires to catch even the smalles of leaks (it will produce bubbles). If you suspect you have a leak, I suggest you take it to a tire shop as this is probably the best way to find out for sure.

Take off the wheel (make sure you have some air in it )

get a spray bottle

fill it with soapy water

spray it all over and the leaks will appear
