BRO , the ps2 are kick *** tires but price was a deterant for me. it was approx 1500 and they wear rapidly from the reviews i have read..

toyo t1r have been getting rave reviews in europe , they have well tested on the tracks in germany and so far it shows in the perf i get with them

call 888 310 4967 at tiredlr , ask to speak to jon , tell him ed gruber sent you for alittle special shipping rate , he will take care of you ..

if the tirerack carried this tire i would stick with brandon but such as life

The wear is too early to tell for me, as it will probably be with most people here. There were just released here about a month ago or a little more. I know they have had them in europe longer and like Ed said they are getting great reviews over there. I so far have noticed no wear at all.

for sure the ps2 are awesome tires, i have yet to read one bad thing about it on the performance side. but i am just worried with the wear. given the super premium prices for the tires, it's hard to justify if i can only have 15k miles of fun on them

I paid a little over 1200 for mine from my local tire shop, but that included mount, road force balance. That was a great price, considering the shops in my area wont mount tires unless you buy them from them

Hey Rich, sorry to bring this old thread back to life but what size tires did you get? also do you have any sidewall shots? I want to see how fat they are compared to the t1s's.

The T1-R is a great choice... you won't be disappointed.

Toyo even has some cool new sizes:

Pattern Size
PX T1R 315/25R19 98Y RD
PX T1R 285/25R20 93Y RD
PX T1R 285/30R20 99Y RD

The Toyo Proxes 4 is a great alternative, too. These are perhaps a little quieter and have a longer treadwear rating, but I suspect they are not ultimately as 'sticky' as the T1-R. We have the Proxes 4 on our new CLS 500 and the ride is fantastic. They actually seem quieter than the stock 18" Pirellis did!

Here are some new PX4 sizes for this year:

PX4 245/45R18 100W RD
PX4 255/45R18 103W RD
PX4 275/35R18 99W RD
PX4 265/30R19 93W RD
PX4 295/30R19 100W RD
PX4 245/45R20 103W RD
PX4 255/30R20 92W RD
PX4 255/45R20 105W RD
PX4 275/40R20 106W RD
PX4 295/25R20 95W RD
PX4 295/30R20 101W RD
PX4 235/30R22 90W RD
PX4 255/35R22 99W RD
PX4 265/30R22 97W RD
PX4 285/30R22 101W RD
PX4 305/25R22 99W RD
PX4 255/30R24 97W RD
PX4 275/30R24 101W RD

Check it out... 24" tires for BMW 7-series and 300C. Holy crap!

I got 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 I dont think they have a 285/30/20, which is what I wanted, but they have been great tires. Let me see if I can take some closeup shots tonight after I clean them real good The tread wear has been great so far. Almost 10k miles and the fronts show no signs of wear The rear has some camber wear but nothing too bad

Hey A,

I found these in my gallery, but they are only the fronts. I can get you pics of the rear if youd like

Thanx Rich I actually found better pics in your gallery of the rear wheels which is what I was looking for, a new toyo t1r 275/30/20 on a 20x10. I really like that look. Not too fat but nice rubber. Also Toyo t1r just came out with a bunch of new sizes and 285/30/20 is one of the new sizes incase you look to change in the future.

I may want to step up to the 285/3020 in the rear since I have no problems with clearance. The 245/35 would still be ok for the front right?
