Default help me w/ offsets

I'm having some custom wheels made for my car in 20"

front 20x8.5
rear 20x10

I suppose my tires up front would be 245/35/20 and the rears would be 275x30x20 Dunlop SP9000's

now w/ that setup what should the offsets of my wheels be so i can send these specs to the company.

Or shoot me my options.

edit: btw I'm lowered on Apexi' WS Coilovers and yeah its on a GS

Those tire sizes are 1 inch larger than spec....I don't know how those will fit without causing problems A better size is 245/30 and 275/30 in 20"

they will fit fine, front offset use 37 or 38, and rear offset use 42 or 43

Will, it depends on are u willing to do some mod on the wheelwells.
If u don't mind trim off a little bit, go with F:30~32 & R:30~32......BAD @ss flush look

99% of 20s owners for the 2GS are probably running 1" over spec so he won't be alone. There are some rubbing issues. The severity is based on the offset. The 245/30 and 275/30 to me is worse because the outside diameters will have a bigger difference than the 245/35 275/30 combo.

UptownGS, what is the look you want? How much work do you want to do to achieve that look? Meaning are you willing to mod the car to make aggressive offsets work, if this is the look you chose?

i got a guide up at the top of this forum already, just go read

and with 10 in the back, 30-32 is a very bad idea actually

I checked that sticky but I didn't read the text.... awesome!

I'm guessing I'm going to ask them to make this set up for me, and you guys critique if I am good or not. Thanks!

up front: 20x8.5 w/ +38 wrapped w/ 245/35/20
rears: 20x10 w/ +44 wrapped w/ 275/30/20

Mods: Apexi' WS Coilovers w/ approximately 1/2 finger gap..... I might raise it to 1 finger just to give me a bit more clearance.

that's very very safe setup imho, go for it

rear is perfectly fine. the front you get the normal rubbing at top when hit big dip, and front and back of wheel well when you do hard turns (going slow anyway)

you are good to go!

That's pretty safe. You probably won't even have to shave anything. With this setup, I'd consider doing 285/30 in the rear. But that's just me.

neo is right, if you can do 285 in the back that's even better

if you want to run some mild stretched tires... get some +22 or +28 offsets for the front and rear. it should set your car off nicely.
