tire choice , please help!!!!!!
Just trying to choose a tire out that I can be happy with...money is not a key factor, but I would like to buy **** tires either.......been running nitto 555 extremes for year and they are all right, but now I want to try something else...I just purchased some goodyear eagle hp ultras and read some reviews on tire rack and now im going to return them because of the bad opinions i heard......a bopard member reccommended the toyo proxes T1R, which seem cool, but just checking out what other may have to say...thanks..Paul...........I've got 20 inch rims for the tires in question im looking for...thanks again...

I bought Falken AZENIS ST115's recently 19 inch. They are super quiet and the tread handles especially in wet weather. Channels water like a ****. Tread pattern is really sweet looking

Funny you should mention that chuck. I recommended him the T1Rs

I've been thinking about what to get next when its time to replace my dunlop sp9000. Since you've had both the goodyears and pirelli's (I'm interested in both) I was wondering which one you think is best.
Thanks

I've only got a few hundred miles on the Pirellis, but I think they have a softer sidewall than the Goodyear GS-D3s. The GS-D3s are more of a performance tire, and Pirelli Neros are more comfort. And that's going from 16s, to 18s. The Goodyears look pretty cool too. They are both about the same loudness I think. the new Pirellis are a little louder, but that's also to be expected going from a 225/55/16 to a 245/40/18 so who knows.

Well it's hard to make a good recomendation unless you say what is important to you. But probably your 20 inch size will limit you somewhat. If you want longer treadlife and better ride quality I would go with an A/S tire. If you want the best performance then a summer performance tire like the ones mentioned would be a good choice. My customers seem to really like the GSD-3 or the Pilot PS2.
