Default quick help with new tires & wheels

I know this topic has been beaten to death here, but I wanted some quick help, since the topics on this were pretty old.

But I just got new 20's for my GS and in it's first week, it's been to the shop a lot of times because of Vibration. It's the same shop I bought my rims, but the vibration won't go away, no matter what they do to it. They tell me that vibration is normal on a car with 20's, but I want to make sure and ask some of you. It shakes at 45 MPH then stops at around 55. Then it starts shaking again at around 80 MPH. The shaking at 45 is sometimes a violent vibration. And I don't think I have bent wheels either.

And what should I do? Note that I never went to an "A" or even "B" shop, just your local shop. Should I take it to the dealership or maybe somewhere like Les Shwab? I'm getting concerned here because I did not think life with 20's was going to be this hard.

rom hit it on the head, with hub rings and road force balancing your prob will go away, find out the center bore of your wheel and have your shop provide u hub rings since u bought the wheels from them, lexus center bore is 60.1,,,,,,,,,most likely your wheel has a center bore of 73 mm,,,,,

if the wheel have no bends than it has to be a balancing issue unless your alignment is off aswell.

Yes, the car had hub rings put into it. The shaking has improved, but it still shakes a lot. And I don't think it was balanced with a road force balancer.

Thanks for the help guys. Any idea where I could get it road force balanced? I'm a bit cheap so at a toyota or lexus dealership is definately plan B. But I'll do what it takes anywhere Does Les Shwab have those?

Find a shop that has a Hunter 9000 or greater balance machine.
