Question Getting wheel spacers for GS

Im looking to get wheel spacers for the rear wheels. The specs of the wheels are 18x8.5 with +40 offset. Can i run 25mm spacers with my setup without rubbing the fender?

Since 25mm is about 1inch, this would be the same as me having a 18x9.5 with +40 offset.

Hey my friend ! Putting a 25mm spacer in the rear with a +40 offset will leave u with a +15 offset !!

what tire dimensions do u have?

best bet go with 15mm .. are u going tohave your car slammed? I have a +33 offset in the rear with the fender completely shaved off on a 275 tire.

.
Yup. And if you want to compare it to 18x9.5, you are at about +27. You would be rubbing at about +35 so you are already 8mm over.

D-MAN63,

Whats up bro......my wheels are 18x8.5 and im running 245/40/18 tires.

Main reason i wanted to get the 25mm ones because they are much easier to install.

15, and 20mm spacers install the same way, all comes with longer studs.

yeah 15mm and 25mm they should be the same deal.

8.5 +40, with 25mm that's 8.5 +15. if convert that to 10, it would add 18, so it's 33. that's pretty off, even shaving the whole fender lip won't work. if you put 15mm instead, that's like 10 +43. that would put you right on the fender without doing any fender mod

now if you wanna do reasonable fender mod and get a bit more aggressive, get 20mm, that's like 10 +38, that's just like what neo has
