I'm looking at the sidewall of my tires and all it says is max psi 50psi. No mention of what they should be set to. I checked them and they were at 35 and they ride fine but i'm worried they might be too low? they are 245/35/20 if that matters. thanks

In my 245-35-20 I usually keep it at 38 to 39 psi. I like to check the tire pressure every time I clean the wheels because low pressure can cause excessive tire wear, and we know these tires go fast enough

yup for 20s i would put around 38 to 40 when the tires are COLD. read, very important, COLD. not after you drive on the freeway for 2 hrs, that's HOT.

putting 35psi technically has no problem, but you just run more risk bending your wheels that's all
