Default Sneak Peek of yet another NEW iFORGED WHEEL: ICON

Hey Guys, just thought I'd share a quick sneak peek of a new iFORGED style. Its called the ICON. Sorry about the plastic wrap and missing centercap, but you get the idea! I'd love to see these in 22" hi-polished on a 745i They have a good balance between sporty, open design and bold spoke structure. I like em.

These are Brushed Aluminum finish, and standard forging btw.

ummm, doesn't have the wow factor as the daytona imho, but it's good that they are coming out with more and more choices

You know what Rom, I saw this wheel for the first time about a month ago in high-polished and I said the same as you. Nice but not knocked out of my socks.

For some reason when I saw this pic (with the brushed) I was really wowed more, not really sure why.

Alot of people dont like the curved face of the Extreme Fit line, so this is a good alternative.

Hmm, wonder how these would look on a white SC430 in brushed with a 4-4.25" lip? (sorry Rom couldn't help myself! LOL)

Always a salesman, D...

Did you ever see Glengarry Glen Ross? ABC...Always Be Closing. If you haven't, check it out. It's a great movie (and play), especially for us sales guys.

I think they would look nice on a 745 with a huge lip, but I also like the Daytonas more

man are you really helping me or what?!

but to be serious, in any case, i probably prefer the new forged technology, i think that brings in more lip size, isn't it? i think i read somewhere that i can get 5" lip on my sc430 if i get the new forged 3 piece wheels (like the daytona)?

I'm not feeling these as much as some of the other new styles. But then again, everyone's tastes are different.

I just wished mine had the new clearcoat technique and lip action. I guess it is nothing $$ can't change.

Supposedly yes. Less prone to peeling. Mine is already peeling a little, not enough to TRULY bother me but enough that I know it is there.

If I can be really honest, on a 20" wheel I think anything more than 4-4.5" is too much of a good thing (for some reason I always think toilet bowl!!) When Vince showed me the 19x14 iFORGED for the Porsche, that was the first thing I said, "nice toilet bowl" LOL

Think about it this way, on a SC430 you can get a 4" lip with the standard forging no problem. The thing is, that is a 4" lip with absoultely no curve on the spoke. So its 100% uninterupted, I think a 4" lip on the standard and a 4.5" on the new forging will look the same! All the M3 guys are all up in arms about a 5" lip on 19s, and I'm like, yeah thats great, the damn face of wheel will be in the gas tank! LOL

In my humble opinion, the new forging is a must have for guys with a GS, or G35 sedan, or Non-M E46. But for SC430, G35coupe, and E46 M3 guys the standard forging is all you need. Save yourself 200.00 bucks buddy, get the standard! LOL
