Default what tires hold up longer

i swear i go through rear tires every 6months. i'm absolutley tired of buying so many tires. anyone with any experience on long lasting tires. at this point driving back and forth to work i don't really care about grip and performance, i'm more concerned with shelling out $$$. i have a staggered setup so rotating won't work. i've been through 3 sets of rear tires and just now i'm replacing the fronts. i don't drive ridiculous either(take corners fast, burning out, or anything else for that matter) any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try the Continental ContiExtremeContacts. Good wet traction, lasts for a while, and cheap on Tirerack.

Conti's are a good recommendation. The Nitto's didn't last any longer then anything else? The way others have touted those tires I'm very suprised.

Also, many have liked the Pirelli P Zero Nero and the Michelin PS A/S, basically if they are performance sizes the best bet is going to be a performance all season tire.

Michelin PS A/S has a treadwear rating of 400, that's the longest you'll find. I got 30K out of them and they're not completely worn out yet. They're more expensive initially, but the highest tech tire now made.

Default Kumho ASX

You can find at the tire rack...

Kumho ASX have a 30K warranty - they are reviewed directly against the P-Zero Nero.

Price was $99/per.

Good Luck,
Eric

i guess you need to check the treadwear ratings on the Tirerack.com.....i must admit...my michelin pilot sport a/s looks like 90% tread remaining....basically like new even after over 1 yr of daily driving. Its treadwear rating is 400...i think.

My Michelin Pilots held up for a good 25k miles before a piece metal went through the sidewall and they still had about 60% of their tread left. Best tires I have ever owned. Great recommendation.

Cool

The Pilot Sport A/S do hold up quite well when maintained correctly. But, once again, what exact tire size do you require?
