2nd Gen wheel advice
Alright guys, Well I sold my Gio's today, and I'm going for some Iforged wheels.
My question is this, I'm going to do one of the wheels that is only 3-piece, so I have the choice of diameter and width.
I am definitely doing 20's, but my question is whether its a good idea to do more than the regular 20x8.5 and 20x10 set up.
I do not want to rub, as this is my daily driver, but still my show car baby. Will it help my handling to do a 20x9, and a 20x11 set up? will this be too much tire to push for my Gs3 to push? I plan on doing a turbo or something next year.
Basically what I'm asking is whether you guys would go for a more custom set up if it equates better handling or not. Price is not really an issue because materials aren't that expensive.

for the look go with the 9 and 11. it would look very nice. as long as you get the right offset you will not have rubbing issues except those that "come for free" on 20s.
for performance you are asking for it coz it's a lot of load for the gs3 to push.
3 piece or 2 piece doesn't matter for iforged, not like you change anything at will. plus i think 2 piece actually has more lip. but then the new style 3 piece have even more lip i believe

Hmm... Also thinking of resale, i guess it would be harder to sell the 20x9, and 20x11 since only the second gen gs can fit it. I guess if you do the regular 20x8.5 and 20x10 you could put them on the new gen gs, old gen gs, and sc and ls.

personally i don't see that big of a differenec. if you are really inclined, you can always do 8.5 and 11

Henry, since you are the fitment wizard, will 20x11's fit with zero rubbing if i trim the fender tab. I plan on doing a pro fitment in the rear because I love the flush fitment.

Isnt tturbopimp running the 305s in the rear on his hre 20 x 11? That is one beefy tire. If you can pull it off and get the right offset I say go for it. I think it would look great.
