Default Fat 19 Setup for GS...

With fat 19" setup (245/40 and 275/35) on the GS with L-Tuned susp - Any problem with hitting front tires when hitting bumps while TURNING? 245/40 is about 1/2 taller than 245/35 (from the hub).

it really depends on the width and the offset. but if you don't hit with normal setup, i think you have a good chance with the fat

you should not have a problem at standing height with Ltuned setup....but Im not sure about rolling over humps and bumps....I think it'll be close...but OK.

You guys are making me nervous.

I am ready to do the L Tuned spring with Bilstein Sports. I have 19 x 9 (i think) F and 19 x 10 (for sure) R. I want to run the same as engn (245/40 and 275/35). The current rears tires in my car are 275/35 and 245/35 F. I need more meat on the fronts (40 series) but want the rears the same.

Should I be worried??

how come you have 35 front and back now? that's funny

but getting more meat for the front is ok. if you don't rub now, i think you have good chance not rubbing in 40 series

They were the size tires when I bought them from a CL member. I guess I asssumed that was the proper fitment. Not really eh? I should go with the 275 30 for the rear then? With 245/40 in front. you think huh??

Thanks for the reponse I will PM other question to you tomorrow-

Thx-

D

well, the 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 are normal setup, and 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 are the fat setup what you haev now is a mix of both, kinda funny why that's the case

rom-

Based on this search at Tirerack which do you have?

Symetrical or directional and why the different price points for seemingly the same tires?? Possibly the lettering?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...g=ZR&x=52&y=12

Hope the link works-

Doug

PS-this was a search for the fronts only

umm the link doesn't work. but anyway, there should stil lbe some choices. i have the pzero nero, and it's assymmetric. i think most of the performance tires are directional though. they all have their goods and bads, and yes the prices could be quite differeent
