Default What SUMMER tire to get?

Trying to find a good SUMMER tire for my LS430 Ultra. I have the 17" rims stock. Need a good performance tire, not driven in bad weather... other than wet.

Anyone have particular sucess with their selections?

Anyone? I must buy some tires this week and hoped other LS owners could recommend their tires.

I'm not an LS owner, but there are a lot of positive things said about Bridgestone S-03 for its dry and wet handling.

i don't recommend so3, it's so stiff and as it wears it's so loud. also we had some issues with the tires separately on the inside (weird thing).

anyway, i moved your thread to tire forum, should get more feedback. it's for ls430

personally i have pzero nero now, very soft and comfortable

Yep...im running the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 now....very good summer (year round for me ) tires imo....with super strong sidewalls to protect from curbing ur lips.

Will....its nice when peeps in our crew got connections with Dunlop and other manufacturers.....they sponsored 10 cars in our crew for HIN 2004 in Hawaii. We all got those new tires.

the new Dunlop Direzza's are good, if you have a lot of extra change the Dunlop Sport Maxx is a great tire...I personally run the Goodyear F1-D3's, very quiet and super in the rain

I had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S before the DZ101....great tire too....but sidewall protection was weak....nevertheless....both are great tires imo....just that the $ for the Michelins really hurt the wallet....and the DZ101 is reasonable.

Design-wise...the DZ101side profile looks stretched on my car....even though its the same size of my Michelin.

Sure, in a summer performance tire the GY Eagle F1 GSD-3 or the Bridgestone S03 would be the best choices.

Default Stock Tires

P225/55R17 95H BLK Dunlop SP Sport 5000
Ultra high performance all season radial. Original equipment for 03-04 Lexus LS430

What do you think of this tire? It's factory equipment... looks sporty.
