it will if you do not upgrade the suspension(lower the car), imo.

i went to the s.cal meet few weeks ago, and there were meny gs w/19s-all looked amaaazing. isaw your ride is stock. if you like 19s, go for it, but do get either:

1.l-tunes springs and shocks from steve

2.coil-overs suspension

3.eibach/H&R springs + BILSTEINS sport shocks

i can getyou a set of bilsteins to your door for $425 should you decide to go that route.

hope this helps

your tires diameter will be the same unlike a 20" tire...but either way...I would suggest the lowering too...I am planning on doing the H&R/Bilstein with Will supplying the bilsteins...

HEy guys.
i recently got 19" wheels on my GS right before the carson clublexus meet and my car looked way too high even though I have the RMM body kit on my car. I got the L-tuned shocks and springs from Steve that day and had then installed. It made it look so much better. Hope this helped.

The ride is not as bad as most people think. When I had my stock springs and shocks on my 19's, the ride seemed almost identical to my stock 17's. (My offest is 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the back). The only thing that was not appealing was how much more noise the 19's made compared to my 17's. Not horrible though. Only after I put on my springs and shocks did the car feel complete. The ride does worsen a little but with the L-tuned springs, shocks and 19" wheels, the ride is not half bad. I was expecting my younger brother's lowered prelude but it still feels like a Lexus. I heard the L-tuned is the softest springs out there, compared to the H&R, eibach, etc. I believe that the drop for the L-tuned springs and shocks are 1.25 in the front and a little less than an inch in the rear. My car is in the gallery if you want to see how 19's look with the L-tuned setup. Great bang for the buck. Hope this helped.

Thanks Tony
The one taken at night in the parking structure is mine. The other White GS with the AV3s, veilside back and sides (the one with the team hybrid stickers) is Kirby's. I just found out that his car is in the movie Fast and the Furious as an extra. WOW. Thanks so much for the complement. I'm on the west coast, in the LA area. How about you Tony? Hope you're here on the west coast too. I'm don't get upset when people have the same mods. We can just look good together!

Presario,

With the 19 X 8.5 up front and the 19 X 9.5 in the rear what tire size did you end up buying for your GS??
Trying to educate myself on all these mods..

BTW what tires did you buy.. I struggled over my decision to buy 18" or 19" rims for my SC.. I ended up buying 18" because didn't want to buy new run flats and I thought the ride might of been too harsh..

Took a peek at your car in the Gallery.. Very sweet!!

Hey Tony:

I went with 19 x 8.5 & 19 x 10's with 235/35 & 275/30 19's on my GS4. I also lowered the car a little with Eibach springs.

Thanks 2savvy

With my wheels, I went 245 35 19 in the front and 275 30 19 in the back. I'm running on the Yokohama AVS sport tires. I had these on my stock 17s for long time and loved them so I chose them again for the 19s. They are very well priced as well. Thanks for the complement I really do appreciate it!

i think if you dont lower with 19's it would prob look high, i have 19in bs5 with eibach springs. its only like a 1.5in drop and it looks ok, i think its personal preference. for me i like it slammed, so im prob gonna go get some coilovers and drop it another inch or so , for some reason, i think 19's look small on my car, i think its the kit that is SO low. for people that want a WIN kit, i think 20's will be better
