Default Are these genuine "Work Equip" wheels?

Hello,

I am a Supra owner that needs some help here.....Can someone that knows for sure validate whether or not these are genuine Work Wheels.....See pics. The rim lip with respect to the rivets doesn't match what I have seen on other vehicles and or pics. of the wheels from websites. Can anyone explain?

Any immediate help would be greatly appreciated....By the way, there is a chance these are Japanese dom. market wheels....

Thanks,

Scott B.

Sorry I cant help you but you should post this in the tires and wheels section. You will probably get more responses there.

I am 99.9% sure they are genuine. The ddc design looks exactly the same as mine.

btw:, also look closely at the bolts.. Does it say "work" on the bolt face? mine says that so figured if yours say that it is genuine.

Those look like real Work rims, they just the have more expensive Lip—Dynamic Dimple Composite (DDC). As D-MAN63 stated look at the rivets, they all should say "Work" on them. Plus, I don't think there are any "knock offs" of the Equips out there.

Here's my Work Rezax with DDC lip on my CRX.

Default Thanks, you guys....

Just a word of thanks to those who responded.....I just spent almost 3 grand on wheels and tires, and wanted to make sure I paid for the real deal.....The DDC I have never heard of, or seen as an option in talking with U.S. distributors or others with these wheels.....I feel comfortable now that I am not being taken. I'll be sure to check the rivets....Can't tell you how much I appreciate the feedback. Any other information available on the web above that more exotic DDC lip? Or does anyone else have pictures of cars with these wheels or that lip style? I'll be sure to post pictures when I get mine mounted.....That DDC lip sure looks like a B-I-T-C-H to clean versus my Enkei RP-01 chromed 1 piecers I have now.....

Thanks, Again.

Scott

There are only two companies that I know of that makes the DDC lips, Tacheki Project, the makers of Racing Hart and Bersaglio and Work Wheels. To me it seems these kind of lips are only on very Hi-End rims.

Default So, looks like a good deal just got...

So,

I guess from this and other feedback, that I really have the truly latest version, and most expensive version of these wheels on their way to me.....Other than being I'm sure tough as HELL to clean, they should look great as Enkei Replacements.....Thanks Again for all of your help! DDC=Dynamic Dimple Composite.....I learn something new every day! Who knew?

I'll be sure to post pictures for all of you if you care to see them mounted on a Supra.

Thanks, Again.

Current Enkei fitment pic. below. (Same as above)

Default New shoes...now on.

Guys,

Just bought some slightly used chrome Work Equip wheels from someone in the For Sale forum, and had them put on....What do you think? My fiend wanted my Enkei's so he swapped mine to his car, and is thrilled too. Couple of pictures....And my old sig. with the past look. Did I do good? Tell me what you think...

Old look, for me at least....

Later,

Default Any suggestions....

So, any suggestions as to how to best clean the little "dimple alcoves" that surround each rivet bolt? Mine are fairly dirty, and I don't want to damage the chrome.....

Any help appreciated...

Can someone tell me what kind of wheels these are? Previous owner told me "Work Equip" but the spokes are different.

Thanks
