Default 42 Offset Work On SC400?

I'm about to pull the trigger on some wheels and I need to know if a 42 wheel offset is going to work on my car. What exactly does that mean? How far off from stock would that be and what effect will it have? Thanks!

Here are the wheels (not coming from this retailer though):

I've been reluctant to go with Konig, but I'm hoping for the best. I can't really afford much more and I think I like this look. I'm going with "16 x 7 by the way = 5 x 114.3 42

you're getting basically the same size as the stock wheels,, and they will sit in almost as much as them.......why not save a little more and try getting something a little bigger and wider?

but ya, +42 will work with that size, it's basically almost identical to the factory wheels which are 16x7 +50 assuming you have the multi-spoke factory wheels
