Default AVS DB2 vs. Pilot PS2

Which tire is better?

AVS DB2:
Pros: Quieter, cheaper and more arrgessive looking pattern
Cons: only performance AS, tire where?

Pilot PS2:

Pros: Max performance tire, better trend where, Micheline
Cons: $$$, not as aggressive pattern.

I am running on 235/45-17, the SO3 is just too noisey and rough after 22K miles. The AVS DB2 I can get like $193 with tax/balancing, mounting (out the door) and the PS2 like $213 out the door.

Anyone have experience with either? Which one is quieter/smoother? WHat about trendwhere?

Thanks

Cool

What is the most important things to you when purchasing tires (ie: wet traction, snow traction, handling / cornering, long tread life etc)?
