Fat Tire Setup and Navigation Accuracy
I'm thinking about getting 19 inch wheels on the fat tire setup (245/40/19 for the fronts and 275/35/19 for the rears). I know that the fat tire setup will mean that my spedometer and odometer will be out of spec by about 6%. Does anyone know whether this will also affect my navigation system? I have an aftermarket nav. system (the Alpine DVD-based navigation system) and since the unit must be connected to the car's speed sensor it would seem that my navigation would also be out of spec.
Thanks,
Mike
