Question rim info

i have my mind on some new shoes for the SC3, and im lookin for 18 X 8's or 18 X 8.5's. i have no clue about bolt pattern or tire size and offsets. my car also has a 1.5inch drop. what size should i be looking for that will fit my car? thanks

your bolt pattern should be 5x114.3, on an 8.5, you can have a +45 offset all around and run a 235-40 size tire......wheel experts, correct me if im wrong......but my old set up was 18x8.5 all around aith a +45 offs and 235-40 tires, just speaking from experience

i would go with 8.5 for the wider width. and for the offset, i think you can probably go with 38 and still ok, hopefully with 245 tires as well

thanks but if i go with 18 x 8's what offset and tire should i use? and also do i have to specify offset when installing the wheel or when buying it?

you need to specify offset when you order them. the offset is on the wheel, not on the install

and if you use what i said, 8.5 +38 as reference, then the corresponding 8 would have a offset of +32. this is to have the same flush with fender
