Default Spare tire question

With all of us running aftermarket set-ups on our cars, is it a requirement to have the exact size spare?
Will an 18" spare fit in the trunk (tire well area) of an SC or an ES for that matter?

?Also wondered if I get a flat will my regualr spare be ok to drive with at least to get the car home or is running 18" on 3 rims and 15" on 1 a no/no...

as long as you have the right tire size, it will fit in the trunk no problem and that's ok. so if you have 18s, you can still have the stock 17s spare if you want.

in my case it's worse. i have 20s but my spare is 17s. my 20s are out of spec so diameter is different

in your case, i think it should be ok
