Default Any rubbing issues going with 20x8.5 and 20x10, LS430

On a 03 LS is there any issues with tire sizes wider than a 265 in the rear with the optimum offset? I heard of rubbing issues on the strut when running a 275 in the rear. What sizes are some of the 430's running with a 20x8.5 and 20x10?

The rubbing could have been function of improper offset, or extreme lowering, etc etc.

the tire sizes that A/C SC posted are correct. I am a little more partial to 275 on a 10" wheel from an aesthetic standpoint, its just a little sexier! (LOL) No offense to my 285 comrads!

with those profile tires, I'm sure you need a separate radar for pot hole and road debris to avoid bending a rim. Is it possible to use a slightly higher profile tire for added assurance?

I run 315/25/19 on the rear of my Supra (stepping up to a 355/20/19), I am not a big fan of anything over a 30 series.

I would never run anything less than a 35 series tire but your supra is sick...

I'm very aware of the TRD widebody kit as it's been on many other MK4's.... but the link I posted of the custom widebody has got to be the most unique aesthetic modification I've ever seen.....

personally i dont' see what's the problem...... the profile is only an aspect ratio. you go lower and lower only coz' you are going wider and wider. if you are running 305 or above, of course you need very low ratio....
