Default LS400 Wheels

I have a 1990 LS and I'm wondering if anyone knows how big of a wheel I can fit on it. And does anyone have any pics of some nice chrome wheels, or wheels they have on their 90-94 LS? I want to get an idea of what might look good on my car. Thanks

If you're planning to go bigger, the highest wheel size you should go up to is 20", but I'm pretty sure there's someone out there who put 21"s.

As for pics, the gallery would be a good place to start:

You could also look in the ClubLexus Meets gallery, specifically in the sections/meets that were held in CA:

I had a set of 20's on my 90 LS, (245 35 20 was the tire) what I can share from my experience is that going over certain bumbs, the front would rub on the fender wells. If I had passengers, it was worse. They look really good on the car if you could deal with the headaches.

You can do 20's on there definately....I think it would be wise to go with 20's do to the fact that the calipers on that model are HUGE!!! Caliper clearance is always a problem with that car....the back plate of the rim you chose has to be able to work around the caliper and most 18's don't....Word to the wise....if you are going to do 20's...roll your fenders just in case of steep ramps.....

if not 20s then u can always go 19... i have 19 and it only had minor rubbing on the rear. and u can take care of that by trimming a little off the inside fender
