Default Wheel size??

Does anyone know the offset of the Ice Metal 888 wheel? I'm thinking about getting the 20x9's w/ 255/35/20 tires on a 92' SC400.......Is this a good set up......or should I go with the 20x8.5's? What about 245/35/20 tires? Just trying to do a little research before I buy these wheels and tires off the internet!! Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!!

I think you should keep looking...I don't think those wheels will look good on your car.

If you do insist on getting them, you need to check the offsets.
20 x 9 is more than likely too wide for the front, especially if the offsets are not correct, you will have the "rollerskate" look and/or rub inside or outside, depending on the offset difference/width combo.

If you do go for 20's there are many deals on tire rack or in the classifieds

Good luck

I agree, regarding the offset, there are a few members that have 20x9 on a SC, but they are multi-piece wheels, thus the offset is tailored more towards the car. With a wheel like Ice Metal, I'm almost willing to bet the offset is 35, which combined with a 255 tire, will give that "roller skate" look (thats a funny one!).

What is your budget wheels/tires?

Sorry D, I almost forgot that you have much more than I-Forged as well.....so that is another option for custom or other hot wheels.

I've found out that the Ice Metal 888 20x8.5 has a 34mm offset........so based on this, will the 20x9 stick out any or should the 20x8.5 be my choice? Thanks!!

Default ewwwwwwww

to be honest im surprised you like the old school hammer look from 15 years ago...........ice metal are cast cheaply and the chrome finish quality is poor to say the least............first off whats up with those dimples in the rims, i mean were they trying to have a rivet-like look?, next the chrome face is wavy, third underneath the chrome the polishing is done poor and it gives u those haze-looking brushed marks, kinda like a broomed finish on a concrete driveway,,,,,,,,,,,,just somethin about garbage wheels that bring my blood pressure up............sorry to vent guys, just hate wheels like that...........ive sold wheels and tires for seven years and i hate every time someone looks in one of my books and picks out junk and i try to persuade them away from it, just sometimes it doesnt work, to each his own, but there are many other better quality wheels that u can get if u dont want to spend multi-piece money....................check out momo, giovanna, donz, and yes even diablo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if you want to get out cheaper than multi and still have descent quality that is
