Default must make a decision on tires

Alright, I gotta buy tires for my new staggered Auto Couture Supremes (8.5" f and 9.5" r)for my LS430. I'm tired of seeing them collect dust in my garage while I drive around on the stockers. I've given up on Falken coming out with the Azenis ST-115 in a 275/30-20 anytime in the near future, so I've got to buy something else.

My FIRST priority is quietness and comfort (hence, wanting the Azenis)

Second priority is tread life, close behind quietness.

I don't race my LS so grip/performance is third. Yeah, I got the 20s cuz I want to LOOK cool.

Choices:

Toyo Proxes T1-S 245/35, 274/30
Bridgestone S-03 245/35, 275/30

if you want comfort, avoid the so3 at all cost. stiff ride and it's loud too

Default Tires

If you want comfort I would stay away from those max performance summer tires you have listed and go with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS. These are available in your sizes for $1325 plus shipping. These will have a much nicer ride quality and longer tread life then any max performance summer tire will.

Anybody else have any comments on the Michelins before I drop the kizzash?

were they the A/S or regular? I just did some research and the A/S sounds like a really good tire that is quiet and longer lasting.

Features Benefits
Unidirectional tread pattern with V-shaped main grooves / Excellent aquaplaning
Rigid shoulder rib pattern / Excellent dry handling and anti-irregular wear
Keeps low noise performance till worn out stage
Shoulder slit depth +0.5mm
(Comparison with T1S) / Longer life

Longer wear life
The newly designed silica compound effectively minimizes heat-build-up, which together with the improved casing profile provide effectively resistance against irregular wear and structural stress, resulting in extended total wear life.

Excellent wet traction performance
The rigid tread hardness delivers excellent ground contact on dry surfaces, whereas the unidirectional tread pattern with V-shaped main grooves and rigid shoulder rib pattern ensures superior water drainage performance, outstanding wet capability and high-speed handling.

Improved riding comfort and breaking performance
Optimal pressure distribution of the tire structure ensures a road-hugging grip even under the most demanding road conditions, while retaining excellent riding comfort and breaking performance under wet and dry conditions.
New silica compound / Rigid tread hardness brings excellent dry handling
New sillica compound minimizes heat-build-up
Higher wet-µ achieves excellent wet handling
Ultra high molecular polymer / Excellent wear resistance
High-dispersed silica / Excellent wear resistance and highly reinforced a polymer
