Default Wheel Application Question

I am going to put 20x9 in rims all around with an offset of 38. I was planning to run 235 35 20 and 255 35 20's. However I was told by the wheel store that I would still encounter rubbing. I was told that it would require some modifications in the form of replacing bolts or relocating them. I am going to run these wheels on the stock suspension. Does this sound correct or is this guy trying to squeeze some $ from me? 2003 gs 300.

the offset is ok, aggressive for the front. with 245 in the front you will rub a bit. i am not sure with 235, but profile too low for me, i would stick with 245. just roll the front fender a bit and you should be able to get rid of most rubbing.

i don't know about the replacing bolts part, no idea what they are trying to say.

the rear should be no problem at all
