sc300 brake upgrade
So. I finally got my 97 sc300 and put 20's on it a week later. 1st thing, EACH wheel is 20lbs heavier than stock and the diameter makes acceleration quite sluggish. A complete turbo setup is in order to regain lost hp but the braking is definetly lacking. So. I know the wildwood or supra tt kit are best BUT, taking money into consideration,
1. How does a 300 crossed drilled/slotted setup compare to a STOCK 400 setup? Meaning would I be better off installing something like 300 sized cd/sl brembo's and ceramic axxis pads, or looking for caliper, bracket, from a wrecked 400 and installing that with new stock binders?
From my experience, all out race parts kill the everday driveability of cars

MKIV Brakes -- do a quick search. They're 4 piston w/ a 13.1" rotor if memory serves. Great stock brakes, and they're cheap.
Pads, Calipers, shims and rotors for 320 shipped off of Supra Forums... but they don't fit over stock wheels, which won't be a problem for you.
Again, a quick search on Supra MKIV TT brakes will turn up lots of results.
