Default People with iForged... get in here!

I have the areo's in 19x8.5 and 19x10 on my gs4. 245/35 front and 275/30 rear Nitto 555. I have it lowered on Ltuned suspension and have gotten it aligned. The wheel was shaking and worse when I got over 60 mph. Turned out the balance was bad. Got it redone but a day later it still is shaking. Is there a special way to balance them that the place (Americas Tire) doesn't know about? I am getting spending this kind of cash on them.

I didn't have a problem balancing my wheels but ask your shop to road-force balance your wheels..By doing this they can determine if your wheels are bent and sometimes they can get it to where it's balanced properly..Hope this helps and let us know how it goes...

Maybe you need some hubcentric rings for the wheels....its helps center the wheel to the hub right before you tighten them w/ your lugs. Another thing is to torque you lugnuts/locks.....hope that helps.

I will see about the road-force balance but they will be closed tomorrow. The wheels are new so they better not be bent and they wouldn't install them if they were. I had a bent wheel that I bought for my Saleen and that sucked. All the lugs are torqued pretty good too... Thanks for the advice so far.

I-forged normally includes hub centric rings with their wheels so I'm assuming he has them installed..

2 Questions:

1. What constuction do you have, 2pc or 3pc?

2. Were you driving in heavy rain?

All reverse lip wheels have a channel behind the spokes that traps water and throws the balance off at higher speeds, but its a little worse on the 2pc, since the channel is larger.

I had a road force balance done on my Techniks when I got them installed, and they were as smooth as silk, even after some serious potholes.

This is why I love CL. You guys reply so quick. It is also a reason I chose the Lexus over all the others, this board is awesome.

Yes, I have the hub centric rings installed.

I have the 2 piece Aero's, and no their isnt any water. I am in Cali so I should be good for a while without the rain. I know they are bad in teh rain so I am holding on to my stock 17"s till I see how bad they really are. No potholes either. I live in areas with good roads.

I guess road force is the way to go. Do you CA guys think Americas Tire Co. can do that or a Les Schwab?

Thanks again fellas!
