Default OEM Brakes=Squeal

My friend who owned a 90 LS400 since new claims every time Lexus pads were installed they squealed..which annoyed him terribly..he finally tried Raybestos non-squeal pads and was very happy with them...now i own the car and was wondering if anybody here experienced the same problems with lexus pads..and any 1st hand knowledge of Axxis brand brakes?

Default OEM only..

He always used new or freshly cut Lexus rotors...but always had annoying squeal when using lexus pads which did disappear when he changed to the Raybestos anti-squeal pads.Just asking if anyone out there has experienced the same problem.
