Question

Hello all,
I'm currently running 18x8.5 Niche wheels, but my first choice was a staggered look with 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear. The dealer I bought the rims from talked me out of it because he said it could lead to suspension damage over time running a rim that wide(on the rear). I know some members here have setups like this, was wondering if anyone else had been told or heard of such? Losing my rotation was not a factor, and he could have made more money off me with the larger rims,so what gives?

Default plus sizing

I am running 18X9 (245/40) for the front and 19X10 (275/35) in for the rear and my car has not ran into any problems. I think the offset of the rims make a difference.

Thumbs up

i agree with v300. i think the offsets do make a difference in conjunction to the tire/fender gap. but i haven't had any problems with my ride...
