Rim Repair Possible?
I have a rim that has a slow air leak due to a hairline fracture on it. The crack is about 1/2 inch long at this point. Can this be repaired? Where can I take it in the Los Angeles area to have it looked at. Thanks.

most small fractures can be fixed, but long-term durability depends on the skill of your wheel guy obviously. most cracks will just get filled in and sanded down essentially. small cracks don't render a wheel useless(unless its a sign to get nice wheels)
oh, and the cost should fall around $200 i would think. most places will dismantle a 3-piece and clean it nicely for $150, so $50 for extra labor and you should be set
