Default Need help setting price factory chrome 17

Well, I am pretty sure I want to go ahead and get some new wheels put on when my new suspension arrives at the end of the month. In order to afford new wheels I plan on selling my factory chrome 17's with tires.

The tires are nice although I don't remember the brand and probably have about 50% treadwear left.

Can you guys give me an idea of what I can get for these?

Is $1000.00 realistic because that is probably what i am going to need to get in order to afford these 19's...

Cin I am moving this to the wheels forum for you to get some ideas. When you have a price determined, you can repost an ad for the wheels then.

PS...you may want to search the classifieds and see what some sets have gone for in the past.

Cin, my advice, post them up on e-bay. There are a lot of sets floating around here, so the price goes down. I got 1200 for my set of 17's on e-bay, I was trying to sell them desperately on here for 800 with no interest

Good idea. Thanks for the move. It looks like the rims pictured would be a tough fit @ 19-9 with 35 or 45 offset according to the fitment guide I read on lexus goes wild website.

Yeah, I know... but I am taking the logic that I am going to keep this car for a very long time...

I am having a tough time though finding any wheels that fall in the acceptable offsets for size listed on the fit guide by rominl.

Can any explain the difference between 18x8 +32mm (recommended) and the 18x8 +35mm listed below for the rim I am interested in. Little to nothing?

according to wheelsnext.com the Axis spiders shown on this page will fit a 1998 gs400

http://www.wheelsnext.com/view.phtml...e=1&f_start=60

COLORS: Hyperblack w/ Machined Lip
PROCESS: Cast
WEIGHTS: 18"-20.2lbs, 19"-25.6lbs
AVAILABLE BOLT PATTERNS:4x100, 4x114.3, 5x100, 5x114.3, 5x112, 5x120
SIZES+OFFSETS: 18x8 +35&45mm, 19x9 +35mm&45mm
LIP SIZES: 18x8=2.25", 19x9=2.5"
