It's a fine looking wheel, and it should hold up just nicely for the price.

Didn't mean to sound hostile...but getting wheels and having them bend makes me angry and i just want people to know, if you are gonna get a set of wheels, get a good strong set, or else it'll set you back all the time and effort and pain that i went through with SSR GT3's and i've had friends with TSW that had them bent and break and even crack. I'm just giving advice to save money, and wait till you have enough to truly get ones that are worth the investment, although HRE's might not be the kind, probably pay for brand and exclusivity too.
Sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings but this is something i'm very strongly opinionated about...

i'm not sure what to say about SSR. Basically driving with SSR GT3's with 19s in the san francisco bay area, i managed to bend the outside lip 4 different times over 2 years. Maybe it's because i had SO3's, but i got fed up with the soft lips they make. I researched and found out that for the GT3's, the center is forged but the outside lip is cast, which is definitely weaker than forging. When i took my GT3's to wheel techniques, which is a really good wheel repair place, they told me, the inside lip has a gel and these lips are pretty soft compared to other brands, i know this is all opinion, but take it wheel techniques fixes all types of wheels, BBS and others. The lips were bent not the wheel, i just don't like spending that much money and getting something that's good, but not the BEST quality. So watch out when you buy big wheels. Just ranting about the bad experience i had. BTW, i have bent the lips of every wheel i had except one back left wheel.

ssr wheels are in general pretty light, but from what i heard they aren't that strong. i have seen/heard a lot of ssr bent wheels. particularly i have seen a lot of gt3 bent (maybe coz' of popularity though). i can't say for sure if ssr has weak wheels, but statistically i have seen quite a few bent ssr

I have never heard knor read anything negative about their construction and my recent dealings with them has led me to believe that whatever customer service issues that they had in the past have been corrected and derrick(dgot20's) and I are very pleased with our wheels. My not be HRE's but a good and inexpensive alternative..
