Brake Caliper Question
Hello,
I was going to take my brake calipers off of my car, but when i turned the bolt, the nut inside turned with it. I asked a friend and he said that they sell a caliper tool for a couple bucks at a part store. Is that what I need?
Thanks,
Mike

if you are referring to the 2 14mm bolts, then you need to turn them clockwise (because you are facing away from the bolt.) When I changed my brake pads, the bolts came off no problem. If the inner bolts are turning, then just get a 14mm open end wrench and hold the inner bolt.

i think your caliper pins might be moving with the bolt when you turn it so you get a 17mm wrench and hold the pins while you turn the bolt so you can get it loose....one of my pins did the same thing, you can use a adjustable wrench to hold it too.
