if you want a tire that will give you some great wear, go with the Nitto NT555. Decently sticky compound too, and not bad in the rain either. A great all-around tire IMO. Also, use the tirerack site if you haven't already. they have tons of customer reviews. Good luck.

edit - oh, and the size I had were 245/35/20

well, if your lookinf for performance you really cant beat - bridgestone potenza S-03's I have them on my RX7. Awesome tire, they wear fairly quickly, and they are some $$$ but none the less, awesome tire. BTW i will have nitto 555's on my GS here in about 2 days when i get my rims. ( they were already on )

whoa!!! That's a shock to hear!!! I put around 30K on my set with no problems whatsoever. Did you happen to get factory "seconds" or something?? That just plain sucks.

I had the Yokohama AVS Sports on my Camry. Best things i ever had in the water, and i got some major life out of them. Plus they are just about as sticky as they come.

If i were you, i'd get the goodyear gs-d3 but unfortunately they are on national backorder, so if you find some instock, get those ASAP, or you can go with all season michelin pilot sport a/s, if they come in that size.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S is my suggestion.....if $$ didnt matter.

Read BrandonTR's review of Ultra High Performance tires in the Wheel/Tire section.

I $ is no object, I'd go with the Michelins too. I've had them on my car and really like them. And forget about the Goodyears. Great tires. They don't seem to come in 20s. I checked the website and asked Brandon.
