brake light

Default brake light

When i take u-turns around 10-15 mph my brake light comes on, but when i creep around 5mph it dosent. anyone have any ideas of why it might do this? oh and when i say my brake light i mean my emergency brake light on the cluster

Sounds like a loose connection in the brake light switch. Try looking at the e-brake assembly. You should see a switch there that is supposed to turn the light on when the e-brake handle is pulled up. Make sure it's tight and the connections are good. Also check that the switch is adjusted to sense the position of the e-brake handle correctly. Hopefully, it will all become obvious when you look at it

maybe your brake fluid is low.

the light will come on if my brake fluid is low? I will take a look at the connections tonight
