Broken Rear Lug Bolt
I ordered (2) lug bolts from lexus and was wondering if anyone has ever replaced a rear lug bolt. From what I have been told I just press the old one out and press the new one in. Any comments or advice would be appreciated

you are also going to have to get a washer so when you are tighting the new stud back in it will seat the new stud completely , if you dont the new stud wont be seatted correctly, i jsut repalced my studs not to long ago.

I am sure the front is similar, but the rear was very easy. It took longer to jack up the car and take the tire of. Just tap out the old one and set the new one ,by tightening it with a lug nut and a washer.

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE CALIPER, CALIPER BRACKET, AND THE ROTOR. BESIDES THE LUG NUTS THERE IS (4) BOLTS YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE. AFTER THE ROTOR IS OFF THE HUB IS EXPOSED AND YOU CAN BEGIN THE REMOVAL & REINSTALLATION OF THE STUD THAT IS BROKEN

I used an impact gun to pull the new studs onto the hub when I replaced my broken studs. I had a hand injury at the time so it was the only way I could get enough torque to pull the stud through
