Default non-directional tire recommendation

I just spent an hour looking at the tirerack's website looking for a good non-directional tire. It lists everything about tires except for if they are directional or not.

So i need any recommendations on a non-directional tire to go on my 18" spare. Price doesn't matter. I just want the best tire available.

Looking at the tread design, the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 looks like its non-directional. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!

Thanks Rominl, i'll buy that if i can't find anything else. There aren't any pirelli dealers anywhere near where i live.

Brandon - Any recommendations? I'd prefer to order from you guys.

Anybody else with anything?

cool

or, i was thinking. if you just want to put it on the spare, you might think about putting all season tire on the car. that will save even more money, and they are definitely NOT diretional?

Default Assym

The PS2 is directional, the P Zero Nero is not, but most people just use the least expensive tire for a full sized spare.

Cool

What difference does it make if you put a directional tire on or a non directional? (I know the difference, just wondering why your insistant on the non directional type).

Default Because

I think he is worried that it would rotate in the wrong direction if he were to get a flat on the wrong side of the car.
