Dunlop SP9 vs. Eagle GT+4
I realize the dunlop SP9000s, being a max performance summer tire will greatly outperform the stock goodyear eagle GT+4 (being a mere hi-perf all season) But in the area of quietness and ride comfort, do dunlops still have the edge over the eagles?
I plan on getting set of Sp9000s within a month or less, for about the same price as the GT+4s would be.

I can give you my personal experience with the dunlops since they came with my car. They seem pretty quiet to me. I don't hear any profound road noise from the tires. I also like to note that these tires can last along time if you drive normal. Meaning no peel outs or hitting corners hard. But what's the fun w/o that right? Anyways, I'm about to reach 50,000 miles on my original set and it still has tread life left. But I drive pretty conservative. Hope that helps
